At the NDSM-werf yesterday. The Fuccitos from Arnhem went with a 6 man strong delegation to the Amsterdam New Year Throw-in Tourney 2010 to visit our friends and organisers Pierski and Takahiro. As you’ll understand, all teams were a mix of both awful and excellent poloistas which gave the day a more mellow touch and less competitivity. Great going there! And yes, there is footage too.

You know how it goes, some person comes up with an idea. He calls in another guy from a second metropolis in a different country who also happens to know this dude from the other country in yet another city. The initiating man’s been a personal friend from that bloke from the third place who happened to be in contact with the other peeps on what’s going on in the hometown of the organisers. And BAM! there it is. Dings, Tours, Rollas so Fuccit, let’s have fun alltogether.

Can I please… Yup, this is my blog, I can. And with a little luck Pierski76 won’t even mind me using his fabulous picas. And when he does… Fuccit Damn, ouwe, you know how to put the pedal to the medal and at the same time take the right shots at the the right moment. Gracias for giving me a chance to show my readers WHY they need to register for some real urban bicycle polo.

The bikepolo tournament was won Team Polotovcocktail! Due to bicycle problems we won the bronze.

Lat thursday I went to Groningen to see for myself how the preparations for this year’s ODCMC were doing. The course seemed pretty decent and Rob Beijssens is preparing the race so that should be more than sufficient. The Fuccit peeps (their next event) are in charge of the urban bikepolo tournament so I was there to see what underground to play. Unfortunately no asfalt or beton, but I think I managed to find a decent floor. Will you be coming this august to the hysterical north?

An Arnhem alleycat again, followed by a fietspolotoernooi, and this time organised by the horrific Votske. Who? Votske! You know, the bold girlfriend/boyfriend of Skitch. One of the D’s in the Dynamic DJ Duo, probably the best bikepolo-goalie and most important of all: Jos is shoe-salesman, he is our local version of Al Bundy. The combination with Mitch as his Peggy sounds like russian roulette.
