In my youth, this was one of the most important names. Or to be more specific his last name. As a kid I was a collector of scaled cars but yeah well, weren’t we all? And I liked the Porsche 356 best. I knew that when I was going to be a grown up man I would absolutely get myself a fast car. But here I am still cycling around not even having a driving license. Perhaps I should get one of those in the years to come and go on a holiday to Germany.

And I’m still counting, yesterday was my birthday and only few peeps actually came by to enjoy Kim’s surprise gift, the homemade cookies and cold lemonade. Stuck with all the left-overs, I have to eat the same meal twice in a row. But no worries, we had friet, fricandel, appelmoes en cola. Kampioenenvoer. It’s my first day living life being a 38 year old.
Today is a beautiful day. A day to remember great events, birthdays and important people. Name one? Steve Biko for instance. African freedom fighter and writer of the famous quote: “man, you are okay as you are, begin to look upon yourself as a human being”. Are you listening, my friend? Then stir it up!
