Then you need to know what’s going on with die Einheimischen.

So what is the deal in Basel this year. They couldn’t make their minds up on which language to speak? They couldn’t decide to play urban bicycle polo by whose rules? Was it too difficult to call (the French guy, with the German surname, who’s working in Zwitserland) him “the champ”? But I bet this TriCMC is going to be a hell of a blast of a wicked couple of days with friendly people. Too bad no Dutchies have registered yet.

Remember the ECMC of 2005 in Basel. Tommie and I were invited to be speaker for their event. As I understood afterwards, we pissed off a shitload of people by showing them what messenger championships would look like if the IFBMA was to become part of the UCI. I never realised though that somebody might get frustrated with fahrrader in general.
