For the courier in white it was weather to feel comfy with. Saturday evening, during the fragile alleycat, the snow wasn’t coming from above, neeeeee. Snow was coming from horizontal direction. So for somebody who couldn’t wear his glasses and suffering from nightblindness it was going to be really hard to win. So glorious victory went to Evil Meneer Eddie from Cycloon. Congrats to him, respect to Guus for organising and big shout of for the prizes of Brainwash and Subwalk!

Guus mailed a reaction to all this:

Last Saturday was one for the historybooks. Despite the horrible weather
12 enthusiasts showed up at the start. After they had heard the would be
transporting fragile porcelain cup moral went down for a few. Nevertheless
al riders went out into the streets ( reed slippery, ice-ring conditions
with annoying snow flakes ) at about nine. After I had locked up the gate
Skitch and I went to the Orewoet where the finish was. About an hour and a
half the first one to arrive was Menneer Eddie. After that almost everyone
showed up covered in snow and freezing their asses off.
They showed up in the following order

Pieter-Aart

and Joaquim
But their was one thing that made sure this was not the final result.
Every crack or piece that came of the porcelain cup was a penalty and also
skipping checkpoints.
After adding up al those points the final results are:

Thanks for all of you for showing up. The party afterwards was also a
succes. I got the feeling people liked the whole fragile cargo idear so
the Arnhem Fragile Cargo Alleycat will have a sequal in the near future
but it wil have to wait for al lot better weather.
