Come over to the beautiful city of Arnhem dieses Wochenende. Malle Tjeerd is doing some organising this weekend on the ice of the Sonsbeek park. In Dutch, the word “mal” does not mean sick like in Francais. Es bedeutet “witzig” wie in der deutsche Sprache!
Is watching you. Or better, les policiers are keeping an eye on the youngsters in Apeldoorn today. And nope, it’s not the most aggresive city in Nederland but maybe this behaviour tells us more about the police than the people that live here.
Bicycles have always been popular in the Netherlands. According to the information on the big bad internet, we cycle over 15 miljard kilometers a year, Holland has 18 miljoen fietsen and the list of bikemessenger companies keeps on growing too.
Then how’s about a nice trip to the beautiful lake of Baikal. I popped into this website while looking for cycling on ice. Sounds like the perfect place to hang around when in need of quiet and peace.
Yesterday I got mail from Scott Free, thanx. Apparently no longer just a bikemessenger but nowadays this brilliant photographer needs to work in a hospital. I instantly thought back to the days we raced together in Toronto. Hope all is well, I wish you all the best and we’ll meet again someday. Like you wrote: Guatemala?
This was an invention. Sure, we now got other kind of transport bicycles. But can they be used as a sewing machine? Or do we just buy our clothes at the shop nowadays?
Malle Tjeerd proposed to do some racing this weekend. After two days of frost, the ice might still be a little thin, don’t you think. Apart from that, i think it’s a great idea and wortyh giving it a try.
Last day of the festivities, Santa go home! We’ve eaten enough for a whole week now. No more of them sit ups, rollovers, play dead with the visitors anymore, okeeeeeeeej? Just leave me be and gimme some room. Can I please have some time to myself? I really, really need to go out of the mansion and do some cycling now.
I did, I did, I got that bicycle I wanted all along. But why do I have to sit indoors all day and be nice to the family and eat my food with knife and fork and help doing the dishes. Can I put up with this stuff much longer? Let’s see how my rebellious side feels about throwing the pudding to the ceiling or screaming too loud when singing christmassongs. I’m getting bored, I want outside to play.
The night before christmas. Arnhem is beautifully quiet. How many presents will i find under the tree? Does Santa know I’m not at home and that I’ll be visiting Sammie’s grandma? Questions soon to be answered!
